If you are looking to pass your BASI ISIA ski exams then you may want to secure your success with a training programme in 2009 designed to transform your skiing and take you comfortably to the level. The course will be based out of the 3 Vallees, Courchevel/Meribel and promises to be the best preparation for your goals. There is no other course available that allows you to train all winter with a BASI trainer who takes ISIA and ISTD exams regularly. Make sure you train accurately and correctly for your ISIA exams.
The course will cover in depth all examined areas of the ISIA exam Piste/Bumps/Steeps/Variable...as well as teaching practice. and with regular video feedback, you will know exactly where you are and what you have to do to make the grade.
The course will incorporate a periodised training programme. Why? Because to make your skiing improve you have to train professionally, not just stick in drips and drabs of training or attend 'lessons'. The course will be split into numerous training periods over the 3 months enabling you to be shown and told what you have to achieve and more importantly how to achieve it. It will also give you rest and recovery time and allow the changes you need to make to take place. It will also allow you time off to gain some teaching hours in February which are pre requisite for the ISIA teaching module.
Slalom & GS training... ...will be incorporated into your training as this is the best way to give you technical discipline. Gate training helps to give reason to the techniques you are learning and employing.
It also provides you with a 'dual training' advantage as you can get a good basis for your eurotest/test technique training or keep sharp if you have already started training towards these exams. First deposits 2009 The first deposit of £300 is due for the 25th August. This is primarily to establish numbers so that people can look to booking their accomodation etc for the winter.
...and of course, there will be some awesome skiing days as we make the most of what the three valleys has to offer!
