Kåbdalis sits in Swedish Lapland, close to the Arctic Circle, and it’s among the earliest and most reliable autumn training venues in Europe. A dedicated snow-farming programme and modern snowmaking let it open early on consistent man-made snow.
It’s a staple for World Cup racers through November as they prepare for the early World Cup races in Levi, with teams from Norway, Sweden, Austria, Germany and Italy. The injected race pistes give established athletes a true race surface, and there are more palatable options for those earlier in their FIS careers.
Accommodation is ski-in, ski-out, so the training piste is right on the doorstep.

A typical training day
We train both slalom and GS in Kåbdalis. Starts are often very early, and while the Lapland scenery is stunning, the daylight is short this far north, so we make the most of every hour on snow.
FIS-level training in Kåbdalis
